Spectrum Fantastic Art Live will take place April 21-23, 2017 in the Municipal Auditorium Exhibition Hall—part of the downtown Convention Center—in Kansas City MO.

Exhibitors who have already purchased space should have received a link to reserve their rooms at our headquarters hotel: if you have not reserved your room, we would encourage you to do so ASAP. We will be sharing the links to attendees in the coming weeks and available hotel rooms will be tight. Every weekend in April the Collegiate National Volleyball Championships will be held downtown and hotel rooms beyond our block will be limited.

We've been talking with Orbit's Creative Director Lauren Panepinto and The Illustration Academy's John English and in the coming weeks we'll be making a number exciting announcements. And don't forget: the Spectrum 24 Awards Ceremony will be at the historic Folly Theater the Saturday of the convention! Stay tuned: SFAL 2017 is going to be something wonderful!

SPECTRUM FANTASTIC ART LIVE

We've made a decision regarding attendee tickets: tickets will only be available at the door and will not be sold in advance. No need to worry: we're not a comicon. We won't sell out: we will have room for all. Amanda and her staff will be ready at registration and move everyone along PDQ.

Plus, we're lowering the admission price: $5 per person per day/$15 for all three days. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult are free. Why lower the already modest ticket price? Simple: SFAL isn't about putting money into our pockets, it's about creating sales opportunities for exhibitors and networking and educational opportunities for attendees. We want to make the art and the artists accessible with a single goal in mind: to grow the audience. The more people that encounter and come to appreciate Fantastic Art and the artists who create it, the healthier our community will be.
