Be a part of Spectrum Fantastic Art Live by exhibiting at this event that celebrates the fantastic art and its creators. SFAL is a fantasy-focused art fair, in which creators can display, share and sell originals, prints, sculpture, crafts, toys and more to an audience of fans and peers. There is something for everything, including presentations, panels, displays, portfolio reviews, workshops, educational opportunities and the Spectrum 24 awards ceremony. In short, our goal is to honor the artists and put on a fantasy art convention that anyone is welcome to attend and enjoy.

Corner booths are extremely limited and cannot be guaranteed at the time of registration. Demand will exceed quantity; all requests will be considered and the corner assignments will be made after the exhibit floor is sold out.

You must collect sales tax if you are selling retail to the public. Any person or company that is selling goods to a final consumer is required to collect and remit Missouri sales tax. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are collecting the correct tax rate.You may be exempt from collecting sales tax if you or your spouse is at least 65 years of age and the income from the sales of handicraft items does not constitute more than 50% or your annual income .  If you meet these qualifications, pay tax on your purchase, complete and display an Exemption Certificate for Sales of Handicraft Items: http://dor.mo.gov/forms/2478.pdf. You must obtain a Missouri sales tax license. A Missouri Special Events Application Form 2643S, must be completed and submitted to the Missouri Department of Revenue. You will file and pay when you return home after the convention on the preprinted reporting forms that are mailed to you by the Department. If you are unable to locate this form, you may obtain a blank Form 53-1PDF Document here — http://dor.mo.gov/forms/53-1.pdf — or call (800) 877- 6881. If the location of the special event is not listed on your 53-1 reporting form, you may add the location and indicate "special event" along with the tax jurisdiction (city and/or county) of the special event.

No tax collector will visit your booth or table or ask to see sales receipts at the show.
